Dear Friends,

This week, 7 men prayed with me according to the pattern of Luke 18:13 & Romans 10:9.

The first is a movie producer/director in Hollywood. He kept telling me that he was “a tough nut to crack” and others get saved but he would not, though he was “honestly wanting to believe.” He repeated this several times. I told him to settle down and listen, and I assured him that by the end of the hour, he would believe in the resurrection of Jesus. He doubted it. But I did not. A man who honestly wants to believe is destined to believe. Sure enough, after 1 hour he was praying aloud with me. The next day he sent me a message:

“Hey professor you’re an interesting man. I love your passion. I think what I love the most is you believe everything that you’re saying, I got that 100%!! Billy Graham Believed everything he was saying!! I like him very much…

“Glad we met. You may have changed my life.”

He sent me some links to watch his movies. I watched one and gave him feedback as “a non-movie watcher.” I normally watch one movie per year, Home Alone, at Christmas with my grandchildren. He is now in discipleship and daily Bible reading.

The second is a sergeant in charge of a jail in a sheriff’s office in California. He wrote saying that he does not believe in the resurrection, but he wants to hear about it. He responded with full acceptance and wholeheartedly agreed to daily morning Bible reading and 13-week discipleship.

The third is an electrical engineering student in Panama.

Subject: Not believing in Jesús resurection

Greetings Dr. Tour, My name Is _________, currently studying an engeneering degree in electricity and electronics in Panama. Previously studied a degree in psicology. I come from a very catholic family regardless I see, since I was 8 years old, no basis to believe in god’s existence, nor the physical resurrection of Jesus…I went to several Protestant churches and find the same result, and even worse. Protestantism tries to flee from the mental effort of defending the bible with arguments, instead they run towards the “only what is in the bible”, and when trying to debate against magic, which has everything permitted, well I image you know the result. Catholic is no better, by allowing things such as the transformation of the substance, I.E. The bread into flesh, but being bread; it gets to the same point, no real argument, just magic. This, instead of making me feel “empowered” due to my way of seeing the world being “right”, it makes me feel sad. If god exists, then most likely he has not talked to me even after years of trying to donde him, ad if it does no exist, then a lot o people are dedicating their, now more precious time as there is no second part, in one of the sides of Pascal’s wager. I would like to know how can you prove something that happen 2000 years ago, allegedly, and that leave no record in anything that is not the bible. Best regards, ________

I never speak about denominations. Just the gospel of Jesus Christ, and mostly evidence for his resurrection from the dead. And this man gladly followed and prayed. And agreed to follow through in the reading and discipleship. It is most fruitful to stick to the message that the Lord delivered as of “first importance.” I Corinthians 15.

The fourth is a man in the entertainment/hospitality business in the Midwest. He wrote:

Hello, Please prove to me the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also, please prove to me the Holy Trinity…I’m very conflicted about a few things. One is the resurrection and the other is the concept of the trinity. I am going that Dr. Tour can help clarify. To be clear, I’m NOT here to debate or disprove anything Dr. Tour will state. I don’t know enough to debate anyone. I’m just here to learn and grow spiritually.

We met, and he was all ears and responded to the word as intended. He said he’d “Absolutely follow through” on Bible reading and discipleship.

The fifth is a Korean American student who just finished his mandatory Army service in Korea and will start as a freshman at an Ivy League university in the US in the fall.

I know there is a wealth of compelling evidence, but I do not believe in the physical resurrection of the Jesus. Furthermore I am not certain that a resurrection logically indicates Christianity as the fundamentally true religion of the universe, but I know that’s a question that I would have to research on my own given the scope of the offering on social media.

He was remarkably open and received the word with gladness and agreed to follow through on the assignments.

The sixth is a computer scientist teaching in high school in India. He wrote:

…I want to , I want to explore , analyse , reason the believe of dr. Tour on the reserection of jesus , I also want to explore if there’s any link betn buddhism and Jesus(yashua) , the missing period of yashua’s life from 15 – 30 yrs , also i and heared accounts of buddhist monks physical , spiritual capability , to be able to lift themselves off the ground , levetate , hindu yogis performing miracles , bending , influencing matter of their will , moving clouds , comanding climate , rain , like sri krishna possesses such power , etc , I want to know is there any link betn hinduism , buddhism , yashua , cristianity …becz , buddhism is a renesance version of hinduism such that christianity is a renesance version of judaism , cuz jesus was born jew .. Hence , there are such question i seek answers to ..I am from India btw ..

I thought we would talk in circles because Hindus are often hard to pin down. They agree with almost anything, yet fully embrace little. He listened, and prayed the prayer, and agreed to the assignments. Time will tell if the hook will hold fast.

The seventh is a businessman in Belgium.

Hello sir, My name is ______. I saw your video on instagram. I’m dying to find out what you know about Jezus Christ as i dont really believe in the physical resurrection of Jezus Christ. Kind regards

I shared the simple gospel message yet again. He embraced it. I asked if he had any questions. His reply was, “No. I’m just soaking it all in.” He’s now in daily reading and discipleship.

Acts 26:18 “to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.”

God bless,

Dr. James Tour
