Dear All,

This week, one woman and one man prayed with me according to the pattern of Luke 18:13 & Romans 10:9.

The woman is a Jew and a teacher/administrator in a public school in the New York City area. She is in her late 50s. Her uncle, whom she deeply respects, is a Messianic Jew (a Jew who believes Jesus is the Messiah—like I believe), and he has a deep burden for the salvation of his family. The uncle is also a subscriber to my social media content. The uncle reached out to me, asking whether I would share with his niece, the woman in her 50s. I agreed, but I told him that she would have to email me herself requesting the meeting with me. That is my policy. So the uncle was able to convince her to write to request the meeting. The woman also mentioned that she had a deep respect for her uncle, and that is why she agreed to this. Plus, she has many devout Christian friends. Miss Lousie and I met with the woman, and sure enough, the gospel did what was intended. With an open heart, she received the message of the gospel. And she agreed to daily reading of the Bible, starting in the Gospel According to John, and to weekly Bible study with Miss Louise. I sent her a link to the free YouTube Bible app since she had no New Testament. I reassured the woman that she was not denying her Jewishness, but like all the early disciples, she was making “teshuva”, returning to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, through the Messiah of Israel. The way that it is intended to be for the Jew. There was a spark of excitement in her eyes.

Hence, if you have family or friends for whom you desire that I share with them, convince them to write to me requesting a meeting to hear about why I embrace the resurrection of Jesus: tour@drjamestour.org. You can also send them my website, www.jmtour.com, if they’d like to learn more about me first. This is not an invitation for those who already believe. I have limited hours, so I must reserve those for the lost, not for the believers who wish to hear what I have to say. If you wish, watch the second half of this video where I present the resurrection: https://youtu.be/JjljpWgEDH8.

The next was a third-year student in a medical school in the southeast US. He wrote:

Hi Dr. James Tour, Why do you believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus Christ? Thank you,

I asked whether he believed in the resurrection of Jesus, and he replied:

Hi Dr. James, Thank you for your email. In regards to your question, I don’t. My brain is wired differently due to life consequences. My brain is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Hard to believe when can’t control the motor.

I did not understand the second half of his message, but I gave it no attention. Because I know the gospel cuts through all sorts of chaff. So we met, and again the arrow of the gospel hit him dead center in his heart, just where God had intended it to go. This medical student prayed aloud, readily receiving the gospel message, just as God had planned. There is no better sight than to see a person saved, knowing that their life and eternity will forever be altered. Chuck Lloyd is setting him up to be discipled by a medical doctor friend of his.

Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brethren, what shall we do?”

God bless,

Jim Tour
