This week one man prayed with me according to the pattern of Luke 18:13 & Romans 10:9.
A European man living in Thailand wrote to me:
Hello Dr. Tour,
I’m an avid follower of your scientific videos on YouTube regarding discussions on the origin of life field.
I’m an agnostic, even if i agree with you that everything needed for life is too much complicated to be thought as a natural and casual process (not only in biology but even in physics). I always wondered how can you be so sure about the existence of Jesus. As a scientist mind i guess you should have some evidence about him, otherwise I don’t understand why are you so sure. Why should people believe in a figure that doesn’t give any clear evidence of his existence? So why he did in the past (according to religious arguments)? Does this mean that all the other religions are wrong? Why should Jesus allow a so high level of suffering? I don’t mean only in humans life. When i observe the animal life i see how hellish must be, been eaten alive, watching predators killing their young, ecc… I don’t understand why someone good who could have created the life would have made it with the necessity of killing and inflicting pain to other life to survive and trive. I’d be really happy if you could help me to understand your point of view on regard of these subjects. With all respect, Best regards,

We met and I preached the simple gospel message, knowing, with full confidence, that it has power to save this man. Indeed, he received the word with thankfulness. After his praying aloud and proclaiming the Lordship and resurrection of Jesus, I rejoiced with him. I set him up in daily scripture reading, and discipleship with Chuck Lloyd. I then prayed for him, and we departed.
He wrote the following:

Thanks to you again for the time you gave to me, i really appreciated very much. I’ll try to follow your tips and try to clear all doubts in my mind.
